Cannot resolve packages from certain overlays

pmerge and pquery are unable to resolve the location of packages in some layman overlays. I say some because for instance packages from the plan9 and sabayon overlay are correctly identified while trying to merge packaged from the kde or the enlightenment overlay yields only "no matches".

And all of this while the strace output from one of those failed merging attempts clearly shows how the ebuild in question was located, or at least was the subject of a stat64 call (from what I can understand, at least).

Please give me a specific test case- repo that fails, pkg that *should* work but doesn't; I don't use layman personally, so... need the url for the repo.

Aside from that, are you using the layman integration at all? If so, feedback, etc? Open another bug if it has issues please, but it's a feature I added for someone a while back, but don't personally use thus don't know if it needs improvement.

Reopen with the requested info please- don't even know the category of the specific pkg, the masking status of it, etc.
